What goes wrong

Small races, big headaches.

Sign-ups get lost between a form and a spreadsheet
One race page, one listEvery sign-up lands in the same list your check-in volunteers use on race morning. No copying rows between tools.
People say they never got the email
A private link they can get againEach household gets a confirmation email with a private link. If it never arrives, Find my signup on the race page sends the links again.
Paper waivers in a shoebox
Waivers signed onlineYou paste the waiver your insurer or lawyer approved. Each adult signs their own, and a parent or guardian signs for children.
The race fills up and the emails start
A waiting list that keeps families togetherWhen spots run out, a household joins the waiting list as one group. An offer holds spots for everyone until a set time.

The race page

One page. Every sign-up.

Your race gets its own page at ironstride.app/run/ with your race name, date, start time, place and course, the distance and how many spots are left. People open it on any phone or computer and sign up in a couple of minutes.

One adult can sign up the whole family. Children under 13 give only a first name. Kids under 18 sign up with a parent or guardian, and other adults in the household get their own private waiver link by email. Each adult picks how their name shows on public results: a short name like Casey H., or simply A finisher. Kids are counted on results, never named.

After sign-up, each person gets a race ticket with a bib number, a check-in code and an Add to calendar button. Families can change a distance, fix a name or cancel an entry from their private link, without emailing you.

How it works

From setup to start line.

  1. Set up race day

In the app: date, start time, check-in hours, your waiver and the distance.

  2. Share the page

Post the race page link or print it on your flyer.

  3. People sign up

No app, no account. Waivers signed, tickets sent.

  4. Race morning

Volunteers check people in on their phones, even offline.

Charity 5Ks and club races

Keep the money where it belongs.

Ironstride sign-up does not collect entry fees or donations. Every entry on your race page is free, and if your race raises money, keep your donation page and link to it from your event. Already use a registration site? Keep it, and add the road to race day, the results and the big screen from Ironstride.

For sponsors, add up to three names or logos to your free Thank-you list on sign-up, results and emails, or sell sponsor spots on the road and the big screen. You keep 100% of what sponsors pay you.

On race morning, the same list goes to your volunteers. See race day check-in and timing for the check-in table and the finish-line clock.

What it costs

One price for the whole race.

Free for up to 15 people. Then $49 up to 50, $79 up to 100, $149 up to 300, $249 up to 750 and $449 up to 2,000. Walk-up spots on race day come from the same plan.

Questions

Fun run registration questions.

Is fun run registration really free for runners?

Yes. Every entry on an Ironstride race page is free for the person signing up. The organizer pays one price for the whole race by size, and it is free for up to 15 people.

Do runners need the app or an account to sign up?

No. People sign up on your race page in any web browser. Volunteers and the organizer use the Ironstride app on race day.

Can we charge an entry fee?

Not through Ironstride. Sign-up on the race page is free. If your race charges a fee or raises money, keep the page you use for that and link to it from your event.

Who writes the waiver?

You do. Paste the text your insurer or lawyer approved. Ironstride does not provide a waiver. If you replace the waiver later, everyone signs the new one.

What happens when the race is full?

New households join the waiting list together. When spots open, the offer holds spots for the whole group until a set time, so families are never split up.

Can people sign up their kids?

Yes. A parent or guardian signs up children and signs for them. Children under 13 give only a first name, and kids are never named on public results.
